From Humble Beginnings

Therapedic was founded in 1957 by Gerald Gershaw. He saw that the mattresses being offered to the public could be greatly improved and believed that he, as a smaller independent manufacturer, could produce a superior product. He was correct! His small company grew rapidly and he soon had a national network of licensees producing quality, hand-made Therapedic mattresses.
